Shout it out trumpet sheet music9/19/2023 ![]() I had been performing playing trumpet professionally with so many bands for so many years. For so many years I never thought my music would be heard. I wrote so many songs alone that never were shown to hardly anyone, for the therapy of it. I went through tumultuous times in my personal life, so many non-creative jobs, all while writing music to myself, by myself, for myself. I came completely out of my shell, invigorated by the audience, sometimes playing improvised solos for crowds of 5,000 people. Then I toured for 2 years with 2 different bands, and learned to be a performer. For a while I was a decent player but my stage presence when I first arrived in LA was that of a scared deer, curled into myself. I have been playing trumpet for 20 years now, since I was 9. The last 8 years have been such a learning process. I left my family home and moved to Los Angeles abruptly in 2013. Every thing that has happened has led me here. This project couldn’t have happened any sooner, it had to be exactly now, in this exact way, and even this exact time in the history of the world. I never thought I would get here, having built this project from a seed of an idea. ![]() Lately when I wake up in the morning and I look around, I can’t believe I’m here at this point in my life. ![]() I’ve said before I’d rather be called crazy a thousand times than ever be called boring.Ĭan you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work. Fearlessness despite the chance of being cast out changes the world. Boldness pushes societal constructs and shapes what might seem immovable. I wish creative and unique approaches to social interaction were more of a thing more people prioritized in their personal development. I often wish people in general would ask weirder questions, and think more abstract way more often. Risk takers define whole generations, form pivot points for mankind, and change the game. Risk taking is how society, art, and humanity itself pushes forward in our timeline.
